I'VE BEEN FLAGGED BY BLOGGER!!!!!!
Blogger in it's infinite wisdom has flagged my blog as a SPAM blog. I can't believe talking about fiber abd the "strineg" we create would be considered spam. Well, I suppose their automated computer found some sort of issues it didn't like. I didn't even post any links on the blog. I've seen blogs with "adult content that would make a sailor blush but they decided mine was inappropriate!! I GUESS IT'S TIME TO FIND A NEW BLOG HOST.......MAYBE I'LL SEE YOU IN CYBER SPACE.

Welcome!!!
Hi and Welcome to my cyber home. Why "String Lingo" you might ask? Well dear fiber friends because it's all about the string. It's what we do. It motivates us all to accumulate humongous of amounts of anything resembling fuzz that we might create said "string" out of. Websters dictionary defines "lingo" this way;
lingo
Pronunciation: \ˈliŋ-(ˌ)gō\ Function: noun
: strange or incomprehensible language or speech: as a: a foreign language b: the special vocabulary of a particular field of interest c: language characteristic of an individual
Strange and imcomprehensible language, huh?? Don't agree just ask a few of your non-fibery friends and family!! And so, we create string but for what purpose?? Well my friends that is where the "lingo" comes in. Whether you call it knit, crochet, naillbinding, weaving, kumihomo braiding, etc, etc, etc..... I suppose our individual prefences could be referred to as different dialects of our language hmmmm...
As for me i am obsessed with the creation of the string but have yet to find which particular dialect fits my style. As time goes on I will continue to create string and at some point will twist it with sticks, or a hook, or weave them together or maybe just tie KNOTS!!! LOL!! Until then I will be happy to pet each and every skein and puff of fuzz and hope that all of you who speak my language will stop by and introduce yourselves. Until then have a great day! I will try to get some pictures of "string" in progress on the various wheels and spindles and post them for you to see! Thanks for stopping by!!
